Welcome to Prima-Ballerina

Biography Photos News

Welcome to my website!

My name is Jo-Ann Sundermeier and ever since I was a little girl, I had aspired to be a Prima-Ballerina! So far I have accomplished many goals, but I still have a lot of work to do.

I began taking dance lessons in 1987 with Mary Hilton at the Dance Academy of Deerfield Beach, Florida. In June of 2002, I completed my formal advance training with the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School in Canada.

I have started my professional career with the company, accomplished many dreams, and I'm still looking forward to many new adventures!

Although I like to focus most of my time on dancing, I also like to listen to music, and sometimes I just like to be alone to relax... which comes in handy after a hard day of rehearsals.

Hopefully this website will give you an inside look of all the hard work, dedication, and accomplishment behind being a professional dancer.

If you like this site,  or would just like to find out more about being a ballerina, you can email me at jo-ann@prima-ballerina.org .

I would love to hear from you :)

Enjoy!
